a couple of my photos photoshop't together.... glad i went to art school and learned to paint - rejecting technology (mid 90's) - never to touch a computer - yet my living, my passions, my creativity play out with the keyboard, mouse and monitor - daily.

Hey you hi ku you
don't know what you make me do

Pitch ImPerfect

my direct
practice of heterosexuality
could be described concisely of me trying to
be one with a heretofore deemed paradigm
described by ancients as "cleaving" but
concisely exercised as leaving oneself behind
as two become one flesh - and tear
the flesh from each other in
exploration of
and
development
of
such
a pitch imperfect as to create a new
language discernible only to beasts

No Way

No Way

I'm feeling empty lately.... like a blank slate.... not a lot of joy, not a lot of pain... just a lot of nothingness really. It's all good though... and not too frightening.

Oblivion

Disintegrate, my life
into a sieve
grit will fall
among the sand
disappear into the salted
melt of rain and pain

blank as space on a rock ledge
overlooking the grand canyon
untouched for decades, centuries
eternity

share hollow heart
with no one
no one

Prose/Poems Project

"unfinished" plant close up

I have a brilliant idea to open a book, find a sentence randomly, re-write it vertically on a page and make a prose/poem from the line of words. Here is my first from Sylvia Plath "The Bell Jar":

Well - she rolled over and told me
I'm leaving you today
thirty days of no sex and
I can't stand your ass. So I
said to her - leave -
and take your shit, and I cried, and I
waited for her to change her mind.

That's what came of Plath's sentence "I'm thirty," I said and waited. I lost the page number - f*ck! But that's ok. I'll find it one day and post the page.... but I think this project is interesting and can be challenging to make something flow from a random sentence - and make sense (or not).

If you are into poetry and reading this... what's your take on the idea? And, if you try it post it in the comments... or use the same sentence and come up with something of your own....
